Glass + Metal Craft fabricates glass and metal hardware for the commercial and residential building markets. While G+MC is an outstanding place of employment, it does not go without challenges.
G+MC operates multiple shifts and a candidate must be able to work on any shift along with mandatory overtime (new Team Members are assigned a position and shift and will work alongside an experienced Team Member for the first 90 days). Further, candidates interested in fabrication operations must be able to pick up heavy pieces of glass, sometimes exceeding 50 pounds, on a regular basis through the day.
Team Members must be clocked in and dressed in their safety gear ready to go to work at their designated start time. Clocking in late or being absent is unacceptable; we expect no attendance occurrences within the first 90 days.
But we are side-by-side with you in meeting these challenges! G+MC provides direct and video training, and fosters a safe working environment for all its Team Members. Unsafe practices and not following safe work rules are not tolerated.
One final note: all prospective Team Members are required to complete and pass a drug test, physical, and background screening before they start work. Candidates are responsible for paying for the drug test and physical and will be reimbursed upon G+MC hiring based on the ability to pass the test.
