Glass + Metal Craft excels at designing and fabricating simple to challenging engineered glass structural walls.
Our more demanding deliverables include tight geometries changing panel-to-panel, custom stainless hardware, and systems minimizing metal supports such as cable-supported walls.
Our recent experience includes a three-story roof and point-supported wall consisting of laminated, insulated, screen-printed, coated glass with integrated custom stainless fittings. The glass structural wall extends away at an angle, while also fanning out. As a result, each varying trapezoidal IG panel is cut to extreme tolerances. Further, we precisely drilled the holes for the insulated point support bushings, which are located inside the glass panels.
For another recent project, within the offices of a leading architect, we fabricated 50, 1/2-inch curved glass panels to fit into existing wood structures – each slightly different one to the next. The result is stunning!
