Construction partner: The Beck Group
Architect partner: Kendall/Heaton Associates, Inc.

This building designed by Cesar Pelli was designed as a premier office and retail space in Dallas. We were brought on to tackle a few big projects. Our most difficult, a custom glass partition wall that would follow along the buildings lobby. But, this would not be like any other glass wall. It was envisioned by the architect to make a bold statement to all walking by.
We were tasked with making the glass and components. Our design consists of nearly a dozen panels with different patterns printed on each. The pattern would act like a gradient and allow more visibility as one gets closer to the entrance door.
Our Approach
Obviously we knew these pieces would not be easy. We would have to pay high attention to detail and precision. Our first step was to develop conception and shop drawing to demonstrate the relationship between each panel and patterns. Then, we provided a small sample that showed the pattern variations. Finally, with client approval Glass + Mirror Craft proceeded to develop these pieces using ¾” laminated low-iron glass. We chose this glass because it would best let the patterns show its true color.
We also supplied several entrances for the space, including all the metal components for them. These were developed by our metals division, Cuda Metals.
Design Support
Also, to better manage time and resources, we were asked to oversee all hardware for multiple areas. This included the tops and bottoms of the doors, handles, light rails and more. Our project managers coordinated all this work within in sink with our customer’s management system.
In the end, our client was pleased to receive an easy, streamlined solution. Finally we presented our selves as a single source for the job and merged art and function to deliver on the custom design.
