Architect: Sowinski Sullivan
Glazier: National Metal & Glass
Glazier National Metal & Glass selected Glass and Metal Craft to fabricate the 5,500 sq.ft. of insulated, laminated Guardian Glass for the $30 million renovation of the Port Authority Transit Corporation (PATCO) Franklin Square Station in Philadelphia.
G+MC also provided custom and standard stainless steel supporting hardware. The 150 x 60 inch glass panels that make up the exterior facade are supported by glass fins and feature a bird-friendly pattern to mitigate collisions.
All components of this custom engineered architectural system were shipped with stamped drawings in a flow that facilitated installation.
