Glass+Metal Craft’s family of SOLUM™ Pre-Engineered Glass Flooring and Stair Treads is based on designing and fabricating glass walkways and cascading glass staircases from the East Coast to Hawaii over the past decades.

Our launch SOLUM system – for a university library – was specifically designed to take time and cost out of project deliverables versus a clean sheet design.

The SOLUM base configuration incorporates four-ply laminated treads with frosted interlayers and slip-resistant ceramic frit patterns on the surface.

G+MC’s Cuda Metals Division designs and fabricates all of the custom stainless or painted steel posts, handrails, and the minimalistic hardware. All glass surfaces are protected by Diamon-Fusion protective coatings.

As with all our pre-engineered systems, a G+MC project management team follows the project from vetting of the spec through installation, providing stamped drawings and kitting the delivery to flow installation.

As an option, G+MC SOLUM Pre-Engineered Glass Flooring can be delivered Buy America compliant.
