Fabricating glass, and manufacturing custom supporting metal hardware, is not an easy business. Situations and surprises tend to work against perfecting glass products. Machines and their operators must be continually spot on. It’s challenging navigating mammoth sheets of glass from work station to work station, and from factory to work site. And the turn-times required by our customers are always demanding and top-of-mind.

It takes experienced leadership to continually meet and surpass customer expectations. Here at Glass + Metal Craft, we have that. Including three new critical promotions.

Paul Kondrat has been promoted to Architectural Systems Director of Engineering, focusing on bringing solutions to customers by providing constructible, reliable, turnkey architectural systems. Paul brings over 19 years of success at G+MC in design, people, and product management.

Andy Bulinda has been promoted to Architectural Products Director of Design, spearheading the design, marketing, and execution of the company’s pre-engineered architectural systems. Andy has over 23 years of experience at G+MC.

Mike McKenzie has been promoted to Architectural Systems National Sales Director. He will focus on customer needs to identify growth, build and maintain current relationships, and provide field input for the development of innovative products. Mike has over 16 years of experience in the glass industry.

Kristen Forth continues in her role as Architectural Systems Director of Project Management. Kristen will continue to drive the success of our project management team, blending strategic oversight with hands-on problem solving, strong client relationships, and a focus on a successful project turnover. She has more than 15 years of industry experience specializing in commercial architectural systems.

Lisa Harvey continues on as our Director of Customer Service. Her main focus is to define and execute G+MC’s customer experience strategy to drive customer loyalty, satisfaction and revenue growth. Lisa brings over 10 years experience in the glass industry and over 30 years in customer relations.

Rick Bert, VP of Operations, has a proven track record of building leadership teams that create and drive a culture in operational excellence. Rick has over 38 years of experience in the glass industry, the last six with G+MC.

Jor’el Barham, G+MC Director of Operations, oversees production, quality, and overall performance to ensure the company consistently delivers reliable, high-quality solutions on time and to specification. Joe’l has more than 17 years of glass industry experience.

Joel Yelland serves as G+MC’s Director of Technical Operations, pushing quality, process flow, and technology. Joel has more than 10 years of experience in the technology field focused on driving innovation and operational excellence.

Josh Booker, Operations Manager, brings over 14 years of glass experience, providing a veteran focus on product quality and delivery.

Steve Blanchard, Chief Financial Officer, provides exceptional financial expertise from his 30 years in the glass, construction management, and real estate industries. Steve has been with G+MC for more than 20 years.

Jay Knight, Sales Manager for Southeast Michigan Commercial Glaziers, is widely regarded as the go-to resource for commercial glass in the region. Jay combines deep technical knowledge with a strong focus on relationship building to navigate the most complex projects. He offers more than 30 years of experience in the glazing industry.
