Glazier: Emmitsburg Glass
APUS is a private, for-profit, online university system with headquarters in Charles Town, West Virginia. Key to their brand is a central library that also serves as a showpiece gathering space for visitors, donors, and corporate sponsors.
Glazier Emmitsburg Glass selected Glass + Metal Craft to fabricate hundreds of square feet of two-story stairways and linking catwalk, along with the glass guardrails and custom hardware. G+MC’s Glass + Mirror Craft Division tempered and laminated four lites of ½” Guardian® glass to serve as the walkway and stair treads.
Our Fulcrum Architectural Design Assist Division designed the systems’ components and our Cuda Metals Division delivered the stainless steel hardware, working closely with the glass fabricating team to ensure fit and finish prior to delivery.
