Greater Columbus Convention Center Node Wall
For this major convention center in Ohio, Glass+Metal Craft delivered 508 back-painted glass panels totaling 8258 sq. ft. of glass, installed as color-changing feature walls throughout the space.
Glass + Metal Craft’s Fulcrum Architectural Design Assist Division drew on our ORNATUS Pre-Engineered Decorative Glass technology to design the walls and provide back-light testing. Key challenges included the overlapping stripped pattern across the glass panels that required precise measurement, and a continuous evaluation of the panel colors using state-of-the-art equipment to ensure each panel matched one to the next.
Each glass panel was then kitted and delivered to ensure timely, continuous installation.
