Loyola University’s Center for Translational Research is a 227,000-square-foot LEED Gold-certified facility houses more than 100 principal investigators in open, shared laboratories and support spaces that provide flexibility for a wide range of science and research disciplines.
Extensive internal glass walls and building accents throughout the venue contribute to a culture of open, shared collaboration.
Glazier Christopher Glass & Aluminum chose Glass + Metal Craft to fabricate several engineered glass systems and elements, including glass-enclosed classrooms and meeting rooms.
The glass was tempered and fabricated with precisely drilled holes for mounting pucks. Glass doors and entryways featured custom engineered bottom rails and stainless hardware, all delivered by G+MC’s Cuda™ Metals Division.
