When Canadian auto supplier Magna International, Inc. relocated its seating subsidiary headquarters to Novi, Michigan, glazier Crystal Glass, Inc. asked Glass+Metal Craft to outfit the full 180,000-square foot building exterior with insulated glass that would both perform and make a statement.
To meet targeted thermal properties and building aesthetics, G+MC researched and recommended a highly efficient insulated glass in a striking brown finish for the entire venue. Throughout the project, G+MC maintained a precise, just-in-time fabrication schedule so no units were left sitting on the job site. As a result, all glass was fabricated and delivered in less than two months.
Based on the success of this project, Glass+Metal Craft became a preferred supplier for general contractor Cunningham-Limp.
