Verizon Wireless Chicago’s facility is enhanced by a several Glass+Metal Craft architectural systems.
Among them, fully engineered custom glass guardrails with stainless steel handrails and hardware line a winding staircase. All glass guardrails follow the curved edge of an upper floor looking down on the space below. And a stand-alone segmented cantilevered glass guardrail protects a circular opening through the same floor.
Made of laminated tempered safety glass, these systems fulfill the architect’s vision for the venue to have a clean, elegant open feel with maximum visibility.
