The Sales Representative leads and expands sales efforts for architectural, design, and insulated glass products. This role involves developing strategic sales plans, building and maintaining client relationships (especially with architects, designers, contractors, and developers), managing key accounts, and driving revenue growth across assigned territories.
Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to meet or exceed revenue targets.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities with architectural firms, design professionals, general contractors, and specification influencers.
Influence product specification early in the design process to integrate glass products into commercial projects.
Coach and mentor sales staff (if applicable) and contribute to continuous improvement of sales processes.
Collaborate with estimating, engineering, and production teams to ensure technical accuracy and fulfillment.
Target new architectural and design projects early in the design process.
Ability to educate and influence architects, specifiers, facade consultants, and glazing contractors.
Strong CRM and pipeline management to track long sales cycles typical of architectural specifications
Client Relationship & Account Management
- Build strong long-term relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
- Conduct presentations and educational sessions on product performance, glass technologies, and design applications.
- Manage key accounts, monitor customer satisfaction, and coordinate internal support (estimating, operations, technical) for successful project delivery.
Skills

- Consultative selling mindset with ability to influence specification decisions.
- Strong negotiation, relationship building, and strategic planning skills.
- CRM proficiency (Salesforce or similar systems).
- Ability to interpret architectural drawings and understand construction processes
- Prior experience with insulated glass systems or façade products.
- Familiarity with building codes, structural glazing, curtainwall systems, or energy performance metrics.
- Established network within architectural and construction communities.
Travel
- Willingness to travel within assigned territory
