Goshen Center for Cancer Care
Goshen, INGlazier partner: Hall Aluminum Products
Glass and Mirror Craft, our glass division, partnered up with Hall Aluminum to provide high performance decorative insulated glass units for the new Goshen Health Center. The Architect designed this project to benefit from coated glass, as well as from laminated glass. Furthermore, it was designed to have a decorative, colorful finish. As a result, Hall Aluminum turned to us and we worked together to plan, fabricate, and deliver the insulated units.
Our first step was to work within their design vision. Next, we had to figure out how to best fabricate the units. Therefore, we decided to use custom printed images for each window. This would give us full control over quality and allow us to make sure each piece would line up as desired. Once the customer selected the colors and the Architect created a pattern, we went to work. Firstly, we created samples for review. These samples would allow us to showcase our solution for the high performance decorative insulated glass.
Once the architect approved out samples we got to work, combining all the strengths that Glass and Mirror Craft has, from our design team, customer service, logistics, and production, everything came together. Additionally, this project would require spandrel units and vision units for the entrance and other areas. These units used the same coated glass and needed to stay consistent with the decorative pieces. Because of this, we needed to make sure we were using the same batch of glass for the entire project.
In the end, it all came together. Our work with Hall Aluminum results in completing a vision and intent with great success.
