Partnering with Edwards Glass Company, Glass + Metal Craft fabricated a new stand-alone engineered all glass vestibule, and a second connected to the building for the William L Clements Library.
The first glass entrance – an engineered all glass vestibule – offers a full view of the landscape with a sleek, clean, modern touch. The structure features laminated glass wall panels and a laminated glass roof supported by all glass fins and beams. All the metal, except the door handle and hinges, was custom built. Cuda Metals, G+MC’s metal department, also provided a custom stainless steel portal to house a glass panic door system.
G+MC also delivered a three-wall all-glass structure serving as an entrance to the library building. Together, these two architectural systems further enhance the beauty of the campus.
