Grand Rapids has become a top destination city in the Midwest. It’s graced by beautiful nearby Lake Michigan beaches as well as its growing reputation as Beer City USA. So, we were happy to add to the city’s luster.
But it took 50-plus years of strategy and purpose. Starting out as a storefront glass and mirror fabricator in Detroit, we knew we wanted to grow and we knew how to get there. Growth takes strategic investment, and is sustained by unparalleled customer service.
Today, we may not be the biggest glass fabricator, but we stand toe-to-toe with the best. Our automated equipment for glass cutting and tempering is second to none. Plus, our in-line quality inspection for flatness, optical defects, dimensional tolerance, iridescence, and more is state-of-the-art.
We also continuously invest in the development of our Team Members. We’ve launched custom video-based training and a cross-training skill-set initiative that keeps our staff at the forefront of technology. At the same time, it provides personal and professional job satisfaction and opportunity for growth.
But let me beat the drum again on what I REALLY believe sets G+MC up for continued growth. We do it ALL under one roof: glass fabrication, custom metal manufacturing, and engineering. Our Fulcrum Architectural Design Assist Division provides clean sheet designs for everything from a five-hundred post guardrail to a custom glass atrium and more.
Then topping all that is our veteran cadre of Glass + Metal Craft project managers. This veteran staff ensures time and cost performance, from project concept to the last piece of glass glazed.
